811 Awareness Market Research - Member Teleconference
Since 2008 CGA has executed a national
survey of 2,000 adult homeowners to measure their awareness of call
before you dig as a concept, 811 and advertising for the 811.
Additionally, CGA has measured these homeowners’ past usage of 811
and intent to call 811 in the future for a digging project.
For the first time, CGA also partnered
with six one-call centers to conduct the same survey on the state level
for the first time to better understand how state-by-state 811 outreach
affects the national figures.
CGA held a teleconference on
November 29, 2012 to unveil these research results. This
presentation featured comparisons against the previous two national
studies, as well as anonymous results for the participating
states.
Both the presentation and a transcript from the call are posted
below. Send any questions/comments to questions@commongroundalliance.com.
