The Educational Programs Committee develops and communicates public/stakeholder awareness and educational campaigns. These programs focus on communicating damage prevention messages and educating stakeholders on the Best Practices.

Agriculture - The Educational Programs Committee performed a survey in 2003 to better understand the educational needs of the CGA membership. The results helped the committee to identify specific target audiences, and indicated the need for educational messages geared toward the agriculture community. As a result, the CGA has developed an educational campaign promoting the "call-before-you-dig" message within the agriculture community, and has made this campaign available for use by all CGA stakeholders. This artwork has been updated to include the 811 number and message. Artwork is available to download at no charge. Adequate space is available for insertion of company logo and/or one call number. Locate Accurately - The Educational Programs Committee has initiated the development of a campaign to enhance existing outreach programs for the locating community.
