The mission of the
CGA is to ensure public safety, environmental
protection, and the integrity of vital underground services by promoting
effective damage prevention practices. In
order to effectively promote the damage prevention practices and
messages identified during the Common Ground Study, the CGA has
developed and published the following materials to achieve specific
goals.

Safety Video - Spanish
Version: Focusing on the total damage prevention
process, a new Spanish educational resource is now available. The
recently released English version "5 Steps to Safer
Digging" has been translated to Spanish.

PSA (2010): Includes
information on 811 Pirate Video for children and new 811 Public Service
Announcement.
- 811 Campaign:
The link will take you directly to the Campaign Materials section of
the Call 811 web site. Download the 2011 communications
plan for 811, promotional material, and tool kits that are free to
use by CGA stakeholders.
