| The CGA's Best Practices Committee developed
a Best Practices Guide based on the work of the "Common Ground Task
Force." The guide includes a restatement of the best practices
listed in the Study, practice statements with supporting description,
and all new practices published at least three months prior to the
publication date.
The guide also includes Appendix A that consists of a glossary
of terms and definitions, and Appendix B that includes supplemental
color code and marking guidelines. The verbatim restatement of all
of the ancillary material contained in the original Study, other than
the best practices themselves, is available within the Common Ground
Study published in 1999 and is intended to be used as an
historical reference point for people interested in a more detailed
background regarding current best practices.
